Alleged drunk driver kills construction worker in Chicago

A man who prosecutors are now saying was drunk behind the wheel of his van was involved in an accident in Chicago that took the life of a construction worker. The man is just 19 years old, and he was driving a van back from a party. Reports indicate that he had been involved in a fight at that party.

Apparent drunk driver hits motorcycle, runs, spits on cops

A woman in near Chicago, Illinois, was arrested after a string of alleged crimes, which include driving under the influence, causing an accident, fleeing from the police, spitting on officers and more. The woman is only 18 years old. She is now being held with a bond total of $100,000.

2 trucks and a bus collide on Chicago interstate

The Dan Ryan Expressway was closed down in the southbound lanes after an accident, but authorities were able to work hard to get it opened back up again. This happened on Tuesday, June 3, and the lanes were closed off from some time in the afternoon until about 6:30 in the evening.

Illinois man strikes and kills panhandler, faces DUI charges

An Illinois man struck and killed a panhandler, and he is now facing DUI charges as a result of the accident. The main count that he is facing is for aggravated DUI, which is a felony. On top of that, he is looking at other charges for DUI, failing to stop at a red light and not exercising the caution that was needed to keep from running into a pedestrian.
